Don Giovanni, or "Il dissoluto punito", is an Opera in two acts, with an italian libretto by Lorenzo Da Ponte. It is a "Dramma Giocoso", mixing comedy and intense dramatic action. The work was performed ion 29th Oct. 1787. For the performance in Vienna in 1888, Mozart changes the end of the Opera. Don Giovanni descends to Hell, before the joyous Finale.
